Collonge-la-Rouge

Collonge-la-Rouge

is an emblematic village of the Corrèze which is part of the 5 most beautiful villages of the Corrèze.

This jewel of the Dordogne valley is a jewel of medieval streets. You can admire its fortified towers, which earned it the nickname of "city of 25 towers".
Typical shops and boutiques await you in the town centre, the leather workshop, producers of local products (foie gras, magret), and many others...

Ségur-le-Château

Ségur-le-Château is a site classified among the most beautiful villages of France. Segur, ("safe place") thanks to its fortifications and its castle was chosen by the Viscounts of Limoges to build their fortified castle. It is from the top of its remains that you can admire its narrow streets with half-timbered houses. Moreover, on the banks of the river Auvézère, you will enjoy strolling in this atmosphere of another time.

Turenne

At 20 km from campsite, discover the natural parc regional of Millevaches labelled International Dark Sky Reserve, this park is officially one of the 20 most beautiful skies in the world. 4th International Dark Sky Reserve.

This label commits the territories to carry out actions to reduce light pollution.
This park covers 314,000 hectares between 400 and 1,000 metres above sea level, made up of remarkable natural environments where peat bogs, moors, forests and meadows alternate. Several sensitive animal species live there: otters, linnets, rare butterflies, pearl mussels, etc. Water in the form of lakes and springs is omnipresent, “A REAL LITTLE CANADA .”
